Since the Ukraine conflict escalated in 2022, demand for long-range strikes and air defenses has surged, positioning MBDA as a key supplier. The evolving missile portfolio includes the Deluge, NCM/LCM MK2, and STRATUS for collaborative strike, as well as Aster and HYDIS for addressing air defence needs, but production at scale remains challenging.
