Today was the day: I got my National Swimming Diploma C, the last of the three diplomas to reach the national swimming safety norms in The Netherlands. It’s been an incredible journey, and I’m very curious about what’s going to come from this. I started swimming lessons back in January, after enrolling for the third time. The previous times, there was a waiting list, so I kept postponing it. In April I got my Diploma A, in July my Diploma B, and that same month I also did the Zwem4daagse, where I swam 500 meters every day for four days....
