When I was a wee lad -- before I grew gray and wizened in my third decade of life -- people would make shitposts using photoshop. But, every year, it seems I see fewer and fewer of them. Most visual shitposts now seem to be made by Midjourney or ChatGPT.1 And this makes me sad. It makes sense. The barrier to entry is far lower, and high-effort shitposts have always been a rare breed. I'm not sure whether AI shitposting is even wrong. I think it's scummy to have AI make art for you or to pass of its work...
