This was drawn on a Quantel Paintbox Express from 1997. It's kind of interesting how little modern digital painting techniques matter for the Paintbox, and how much more traditional art techniques seem to. I've been doing a lot of drawing on paper lately in pencils, colored pencils, watercolor pastels, and watercolor pencils, and I found myself using things I learned from those media on the Paintbox. Contrast that to Krita or even DeluxePaint, which are much more...digital...in their approaches. Even providing one level of undo and three quasi-layers like DPaint does makes it more digital than the zero levels of undo and layers you get on the Paintbox. Gallery password is art/art
