Over the years, I’ve searched for connection in quiet, indirect ways, through photography, writing, social media, and simply being there for others. Lately, I’ve begun to wonder whether connection requires something more from me: the willingness to reach outward, risk discomfort, and say the thing I’m afraid to say.
